Last night I heard from my old friend "Cowboy Bob" Hummel of the infamous Rainbow Canyon CB! I guess I hadn't heard from him since the early '80s, but a search on the net and he found me. "Cowboy Bob" did the artwork for my 1980 LP "I Love My Friends" back when doing a full-color album cover, at least locally, was a pretty big deal. Bob's background in art and design was indispensible, and made the cover very attractive for the times. He and musical buddy Neil Walter did the smash hit "Franklin County Woman" and I was honored when they agreed to appear on my cut "First Cowboy Romance" (which is on You Tube currently). Today, Bob and his wife Jojo, sing and entertain folks in the Columbus area. Contact me for Bob's email address if you'd like to get some great music for your next event!

Hey Kenny... long time. Hope this finds you well. Great to hear the old songs on YouTube. Grand kids said "wow your on vinyl". (ouch). Saw Audie & Tim Wykle last year, & talked to Holliday Parker. Thanks for having me play drums on your album. Still one of my favorite musical treasures. Give me a shout some time. Take care.
Thanks Phil! Great to hear from you. Please email me direct, as your address is blocked from me. Would love to talk about the old times as well as new.

Used to enjoy their music at Dog Water Dollies in north Columbus. Neil was a teacher at my high school.
