What a thrill it was to return to the church of my childhood days. From 1972-1981, I attended Amanda Presbyterian Church. My father moved us from Kentucky to this church as he assumed the pastorate there in the summer of '72. Today I got to see many old friends and folks who helped me get started on my Christian journey. It was there I was commissioned as an elder of the Presbyterian Church in 1978. Today, the church is led by a wonderful lady of God, Elizabeth Tietz from Granville.
